Cocoa Apple Cake
3 eggs 2 cups sugar
1 cup margarine
½ cup water
2 ½ cups flour
2 Tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. Soda
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1 tsp. Allspice
1 cup nuts
½ cup chocolate chips
2 apples cored and grated finely (about 2 cups)
1 tsp. Vanilla
Beat together eggs, sugar, margarine, and water until fluffy. Sift dry ingredients into creamed mixture, mix well. Fold in nuts, chocolate, apples, and vanilla until evenly distributed. Spoon into greased and floured pan (10” loose bottom tube pan). Bake at325 degrees for 60-70 minutes or until cake is done.
