Apple Cake with Pudding Topping

Apple Cake


½ cup butter
2 eggs
2 cups sugar
Crème-Add

2 cups flour
½ tsp. Salt
½ tsp. Nutmeg
1 tsp. Cinnamon
2 tsp. Soda
4 cups grated apples
(Jonathon or tart)

Mix and bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes in a 9x13 pan.



Pudding topping for Apple Cake

1 cup sugar
1/3 cup butter
½ cup evaporated milk
2 Tbsp. Flour
1 Tbsp. Vanilla


Cook in a double boiler until thick.  Pour over individual pieces and top with whipped cream or ice cream.
