Camper Crunchies

Camper Crunchies

12 to 16 oz. blanched peanuts
16 oz. Corn Chex
Add to together in a large mixing bowl.

Then, melt  the next 4 ingredients in a pan.
1 cup of butter
1 cup of brown sugar
1 cup of white sugar
1 ½ cups light Karo syrup
Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.  Boil 2 minutes (soft ball stage).  Then pour over the Chex and peanut mixture and stir.
Press into a pan or stir loosely in bowl.   May fill baggies for individual servings.

I like to add m&ms to this recipe to add a little yummy chocolate to this yummy desert.
